use towards purchasing your first glass of wine or food. No refunds,

Enjoy a fun day at the horse races! Uncorked
members will take over the Turf Club, a private area normally reserved
for members only. Emerald
Downs staff will teach the group the basics on horse racing
and betting, and give you a race program, tip sheet, Hors D'oeuvre's,
Five 2 oz. tastes of wine, and lots of racing entertainment.
Additional glasses of any wine or 3 more
tastes of vino available for $6, as well as a full menu. Uncorked
members may arrive anytime after 1:30 pm and stay as long as they
like.

Chef Melissa Peterman has worked with local wine guru Marcus Pape of WineCow and WineChatr fame to create a fun series of cook books featuring fresh local products matched by Marcus with delicious Northwest wines. Their 2nd book is about to be released, the Eat & Drink in The NW "Summer" Edition. Enjoy a sneak preview of some the recipes Melissa will feature in her upcoming book. Learn how to make:
* Prawn and Avocado Salad with Cilantro, Orange & Lime Vinaigrette
* Sautéed Morels and Asparagus with Poached Duck Egg & Parmesan Crouton

were brought together to form a tasting panel to choose, in blind
tastings, Washington's best wines. Uncorked founder David
LeClaire was one of the judges for the third year in a row,
during which the group tasted over 600 wines in 2 days!! For the
first time, wine consumers and connoisseurs have a chance to sip,
sample and celebrate the award winning wines at the Grand Awards
Tasting at the historic Rainier
